Extended instructions
Closing the tube

-
Put the balls in the tube
-
Check the rubber ring inside the lid for any dirt or particles. A dirty sealing ring may cause some leakage.
-
The rubber ring is removable for easy cleaning access
-
Make sure the rubber ring is oiled. A lubricated rubber will insure a good seal. When you notice the rubber is getting very dry or the tube leaks air. Then lubricate the rubber ring with some vaseline or Nivea.
-
The rubber ring is removable so it can be fully greased.
-
Close the lid tightly

Pressurizing

With recommended pump (standard decatlon pump)
-
remove the black valve cover place the pump on the valve with the pump lever closed
-
Once placed on the valve, flip open the lever so it is parallel with the valve. This locks the pump in place.
-
Pump:
-
20 pumps: stores balls under same pressure
-
25 pumps: increases pressure in balls
-
-
lose the valve lever, remove the pump from the valve thread the black valve cap back on the valve

Pump with manometer
-
pump to 1.5 - 2 bar. Look on the manometer of the pump and stop on the desired pressure
1.5 bar = maintaining the pressure inside the ball
2 bar = increasing the pressure int he ball

Random pump without manometer

You can use your own pump that does not have a manometer. This will however require you to do a few measurements first to achieve an accurate pressurazation.
Fully extend your pump and measure its length.
fully close your pump and measure its length again.
DO the following calculation:

( Extended length - closed length ) * 1.5

Your answer is the number of pumps that will give you the perfect pressure.
